Business Improvement Apprenticeships Deliver Beneficial Business Projects
Over a 12 month apprenticeship period, 5 lean management business improvement modules will be delivered with participants skills developed through a combination of workshop based interactive learning and the creation of practical “Lean” projects within their business.
This leads up to a final presentation session where projects are presented to the other participating teams and senior figures from within their organisation.

As a result of participating in this pathway, apprentices will work with their managers to integrate “Lean Management Thinking” into their organisation by:
- Developing and implementing a real time Lean Management project
- Embedding Lean behaviours, giving participants the ability to develop further projects at the end of the programme
- Learning how other companies apply Lean Management to their operations and share experiences
- Achieve process efficiencies and associated financial savings, typically at a level no less than 20:1 return on investment when delivered commercially
