Consultants – ISO Management Systems (Freelance Associate or Full Time Employed)

Due to continued growth we are seeking additional members to the team. We are an established provider of training and consultancy. With a track record of delivery to more than 4000 customers, delivering a diverse range of services from ISO implementation/compliance services to L5 Management qualifications, including Business Improvement Techniques.

Our client base is spread throughout the UK and overseas covering a diverse range of standards and industry sectors from OEM automotive manufacturers to book makers. The core standards we assist clients with are ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001/ISO45001, ISO27001 however we also provide support in other standards such as BS76000, AS, TS, Medical Devices, CE Marking in fact virtually any standard.

We would like to speak with experienced business professionals particularly with experience in multiple sectors and standards. Attitude and experience is more important to us than qualifications as we can provide a full training package in the use of our systems and support with external professional qualifications including up to IRCA Lead Auditor courses.

Summary of the role:

You will be visiting clients throughout the UK developing management system processes and procedures or undertaking internal audits preparing them for initial external certification or general maintenance of systems. We strongly believe in “adding value” to the service we provide to clients. You may have managed your own business, worked as a QA or H&S Manager across a number of industries or alternatively within a business or continuous improvement role. Experience of IT / Information Security will be highly advantageous.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Visiting clients assisting them to implement effective management systems and gain UKAS accredited certification
  • Provide support/guidance to clients not only in compliance but identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Attending external certification audits
  • Undertaking internal audits & assisting, preparing / chairing management review meetings

Essential skills and experience to excel in this role:

  • Experience of standards (such as quality, environmental, H&S & IT)
  • Ability to understand standards and relay in layman’s terms to clients
  • Computer literacy as we use cloud hosted compliance solutions
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and engagement skills
  • Strong management & coordination skills

Desirable skills:

  • IRCA Lead Auditor (in at least one discipline)
  • Chartered Quality Professional
  • NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent qualification
  • A recognised teaching or assessing qualification EAT, PTTLS A1, D32 etc

assessments. We have a suite of services from face to face consultancy to eLearning courses.

Due to continued growth we are seeking freelance Assessors in the following fields:

▪ Health & Social Care L2, L3 & L5
▪ Childcare L2, L3 CYPW / EYE & Residential
▪ Management up to L5

Summary of the role:

The role will require you to be involved in all aspects of the NVQ delivery (Frameworks & Standards) including the carrying
out of assessments and also liaising with employers for recruiting new or existing employees, external verifiers and staff to
maximise completions. You will be required to possess a strong occupational background in the various trades. This is a
home-based role, and some flexibility regarding travel is required.

Specific Responsibilities:

▪ Assessing QCF/NVQ levels 2, 3 & 5 within the relevant sector
▪ In partnership with the admissions team, coordinate effective Functional Skills Initial Assessment of all learners joining
our training programmes, including an awareness of funding implications.
▪ Co-ordinate a thorough diagnostic assessment process for learners, to ensure that learning gaps are clearly identified,
and support planned to develop this
▪ Prepare schemes of work and lesson plans
▪ Deliver sessions according to the high-quality standards set for the course and qualification standards, considering
session evaluation and improvements
▪ Assess according to formal guidelines and to internal verification standards
▪ Maintain accurate and complete tutor records, all tracking, and monitoring of learner progress and development to
ensure appropriate interventions and high accreditation pass rates

Essential skills and experience to excel in this role:

▪ Teaching Qualification at least to Level 3
▪ Recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA
▪ Recognised teaching / coaching qualifications – EAT, PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd
▪ Possess relevant QCF/NVQ qualifications
▪ Strong interpersonal, communication and engagement skills
▪ Strong management & coordination skills
▪ Ability to offer appropriate Information, Advice & Guidance to both employers and learners

Desirable skills:

▪ Knowledge of the H&SC sector, the training sector, funding & qualification frameworks
▪ CTLLS / DTLLS/ D34 / IQA qualification
▪ A passion to see people succeed in the workplace and or into employment
▪ Existing DBS

Due to continued growth we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Functional Skills Co-ordinator.

Summary of the role:

Functional Skills Coordinator will be responsible for successful delivery and achievement of Functional Skills English, Maths &
IT including liaison with the External Awarding Bodies. Must enjoy teaching in a variety of contexts, be committed to
ensuring that young people and mature learners achieve their qualification. The role will also involve providing support to
other team members liaising with employers and learners to arrange delivery of learning and assessment.

Specific Responsibilities:

▪ In partnership with the admissions team, coordinate effective Functional Skills Initial Assessment of all learners joining
our training programmes, including an awareness of funding implications.
▪ Co-ordinate a thorough diagnostic assessment process for learners, to ensure that learning gaps are clearly identified,
and support planned to develop this
▪ Prepare schemes of work and lesson plans for Functional Skills provision, including appropriate differentiation
▪ Deliver sessions according to the high-quality standards set for the course and qualification standards, considering
session evaluation and improvements
▪ Assess according to formal guidelines and to internal verification standards
▪ Maintain accurate and complete tutor records, all tracking, and monitoring of learner progress and development to
ensure appropriate interventions and high accreditation pass rates
▪ Prepare sampling plans for IQA

Essential skills and experience to excel in this role:

▪ Teaching Qualification at least to Level 3
▪ GCSE or Level 2 in Maths, English and ICT – A Level or equivalent preferable
▪ Working knowledge of current GCSE Maths standards
▪ Knowledge of the broad spectrum of special education needs
▪ Strong interpersonal, communication and engagement skills
▪ Good management & coordination skills
▪ Ability to offer appropriate Information, Advice & Guidance to both employers and learners

Desirable skills:
